"What a great way to start a weekend!" said T-Bone.

Just after 4 O clock saw 2 loads from DOU drop into Melkbosstrand. The DZ was the beach in front of Cafe Orca, a popular local restaurant and watering hole. Spectators included a bunch of whales frolicking in the surf! (T-Bone claims they were more than frolicking!)

Skydive Cape Town staff, Niki , Jean , FBJ and Long Pete were joined by Citrusdal regulars T-Bone, Erik the Viking and Kelvinator. Thanks to Johnno, Anja, Lee and Ronel for ground crew, and James the pilot.

The weather was perfect, with a light breeze along the shore from the SE. Great views of Melkbosstrand, Robben Island and Table Mountain from above were followed by complimentary shooters (thanks Cafe Orca!), and several cold Windhoeks.
